A cleric resident in the Northern part of the country has stepped up to unmask the faces behind the insurgent group, Boko Haram.%&@rrd* Pastor Kallamu Musa Ali Dikwa, in a letter to the senate president chronicled the activities of the insurgent group. The letter which was entitled, “Open letter to the Senate president: My Suggestion on how to tackle Boko Haram,” dated 17th June, 2011 was received by the office of the Senate President on November 2, 2011. The letter revealed top government officials who are involved in the running of the sect and also backed the claims with 5 DVD videos. According to Nigerian Tribune,%&@rrd* a committee had been set up by the senate to investigate the claim since February but the matter had been hushed due to the calibre of the individuals who are named in the letter.%&@rrd* According to the cleric in his letter,he suggested that the Freedom of Information Act should be used to extract the phone numbers of the leaders of the Boko Haram group from journalists who had been receiving text messages and press releases from the group from time to time.%&@rrd* Plz report any suspicious act or movement to the nearest police station.
